We accept submissions by email only.
Please email your submission (3-5 poems) as one attachment in Microsoft Word format. The subject of your email needs to read as follows: last name, date, poetry. Make sure you include a bio either in the file or in the body of the email. Submit your work to: firstname.lastname@example.org
We accept submissions year round, but the deadline for the summer issue is April 15. We only accept unpublished poems and we do accept simultaneous submissions, but we ask that you notify us immediately if your poem is accepted elsewhere. We also ask that you not send multiple submissions; please wait for a response before you submit again, and please submit no more than twice a submission period. Response time is 1-2 weeks, but it could be as late as 2 months. After two months time, feel free to query us on the status of your submission.
Book reviews will be published on the web site on a rolling basis. Please query us before you submit a book review. We only accept reviews of poetry collections published within the last 2 years. We do not publish reviews of chapbooks. Send queries to email@example.com
Interviews will be published on the web site on a rolling basis. We accept interviews with poets only. If you have an idea for an interview or would like to submit an interview, please query first at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The (postmark) deadline for our next issue is April 15, 2013.
We reserve exclusive first publication rights, which expire after 120 days. However, we reserve the non-exclusive right to include your work in all archives and anthologies, electronic or print.
At this time, we do not pay for individual poems, but we are pleased to announce The Argos Prize. The postmark deadline for this contest is April 15, 2013.
